Eve's Story: Friends and Foes

We continue our tale 2 dragonyears in the future, 1887. Eve two years old here, because it was her birthday...

"Hello hello hello... And happy birthday to you." Ddraig spoke happily as he woke Eve up.
"Oh, hi Daddy." she greeted him.
"So, you're a clever girl. How old are you today?" He asked, bopping her on the snout gently with his paw.
"I'm, 40?" Eve spoke.
"Dragonyears dear..." Ddraig smirked, the boundaries between human and dragon years were confused at best.
"Oh!" she faceplamed. "I'm 2 today."
"Yes you are." Ddraig smirked, picking her up. "So we gotta get you a present, don't we?" Then Ddraig went a bit more serious. "Also, I have something very big and grown up for you to do." He told her, plopping her in a chair.
"What?" Eve asked, curious. "What do you need me to do?"
"Well, seeing as your now a much bigger girl than you were before. I think your ready to go to the temple as a student. you remember the temple, don't you?"
She looked at him. "You think so?"
Ddraig nodded. "I do. I mean, when I was your age, I went to the temple as a student, and I did great..." Ddraig then nuzzled her affectionately. "And, I know you will too."
