TLoS LM 70: The Final Trial p1

So, Nexus felw fast to the temple, he felt like he needed to grovel to the gardians, and promise to redeem himself in future...

He landed at the pathway up to the temple, and pelted up it at full throttle. Bursting into the Main chamber as the guardians were meeting to send out crystals to the candidates. Nexus felt overcome with a wave of humility, and bowed to them.
"Guardians..." He greeted them.
"Nexus. How are you? You seem... Different." Terrador replied.
"I am different..." He replied. "Better yet... I'm back..." He spoke with tears of pride in his eyes, and a tremble in his limbs. "I'm free! It was Cynder! She freed me!" To prove it to them, he undid his collar, and held it in his paw. "It's just a normal collar again... And I'm so sorry for everything I've done in the past..." He bowed his head down. "I beg that you forgive me for my wrong doings." He spoke.
Terrador beamed at Nex, with an elated, youthful smile that he hadn't worn since he was at a mating age. "Rise, Nexus. You cannot be forgiven by us. For you never truely entered our minds as a dragon who required forgiveness. We were aware of the effects of the collar on your mind. We were only angry that you fell from the dragon we knew to such a sorry creature..."
Then Cyril joined in. "...But now, you have returned to the stature where you truely belonged. And have returned to the ranks of the virtuous. And we welcome you back with open wings, my boy."
This behaviour was uncharacteristic of the proud, somewhat distanced Cyril, but he was so pleased at Nex's return, his infamous hubris faded (for a time), and he embraced the young dragon adolescent in his wings; it only lasted for a quarter of a minuite, and when Cyril pulled away, his cold, pompus mannor swiftly re-joined itself to the ice dragon host. "It was a mistake of me and my comrades, letting you journey to Concurrent City alone. If at least one of us had acompanied you, this sad chapter of your life could well have been avoided."
Nexus smiled. "Well, it's over now. I just wish for me and Eve to begin our final trial, so we may see which one of us deserves to become a fire guardian to inherit the great Ignitus' title." He felt bad for insulting the fire guardian's name a few weeks back, but it was that event which set him on the path to his freedom, he just wished he could regain the honour he once held, and then some, with luck.
"Indeed..." Volteer spoke. "It is of great and unrivaled importance and great urgenacy, that we bring these trials to an end. But, me and my fellow guardians have come to a decision, and we require both you and the fair and noble Eve to rendez-vous here at the Temple with your friends and family, as we have a most important announcement to make in regards to the Fire Guardian Title." It was then Sunny, Volteer's step-son, appear next to the guardian's yellow leg.
"My dear boy..." He spoke to Sunny. "Can you make haste, and fly to the respected residence of the dear Cystal Snowflurry, where Princess Eve Ixeniejir is, as the young would put it, 'Sleeping over' with her loving girlfriend and lovemate Olivia. I require her and her friends and family to quickly travel here at great haste, as we have important news for her."
Sunny smiled, and nodded, jetting off as fast as his step-father's lightening bolts and launching himself into the air, on course for Eve...
